New Arrivals - Frames - RayBan Junior - Chloe

In 1929, John MacCready, a senior U.S. Air Force official, asked Bausch & Lomb to make a pair of sunglasses for the U.S. pilots to reduce the stimuli caused by the intense blue of the sky that distracted them. In 1936 the prototype was made, in 1938 the lenses were upgraded, and later the specific design was trademarked as "Ray-Ban Aviator". In 1952 Ray-Ban built the Wayfarer with the typical G-15 lenses being launched a year later. The brand is now owned by the Luxottica Group.
Chloé is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. The company is known for its perfumes but in recent years has been designing authentic women's sunglasses and eyewear frames.
