Valeur lunette are designed in France and have a wide variety of sunglasses and frames. Its symbol is the English letter V and its colors are red and black, to match the Parisian style.
In 1929, John Macready as a senior US Air Force official asked Bausch & Lomb to produce a pair of sunglasses for the pilots, that model was named “Ray-Ban Aviator”. In 1952 Ray Ban made the first “Wayfarer” sunglasses with G-15 lenses.
