In 1929, John MacCready, a senior U.S. Air Force official, asked Bausch & Lomb to make a pair of sunglasses for the U.S. pilots to reduce the stimuli caused by the intense blue of the sky that distracted them. In 1936 the prototype was made, in 1938 the lenses were upgraded, and later the specific design was trademarked as "Ray-Ban Aviator". In 1952 Ray-Ban built the Wayfarer with the typical G-15 lenses being launched a year later. The brand is now owned by the Luxottica Group.
The story of Montblanc began in 1906 in Hamburg, Germany, when three entrepreneurs joined forces and joined forces to create elegant and delicate writing instruments. But they didn't stop there, as they are now an example to the fashion world.
